Preschool and Children's Ministry
Purpose
The purpose of our Preschool & Children's Ministry here at Church on Mill is producing developing disciples by sharing God's love hand in hand.
Church on Mill's programs and activities reflect our desire to help you meet your child's spiritual, mental, physical, social and emotional needs.

Does playing sports at Jaycee park sound like a good time?
Well, what if you had awesome coaches and prizes?
Children in grades 1-6 will participate in a FREE sports clinic for soccer, basketball, flag football and volleyball on Friday, March 19, from 10am-12pm. An inspiring message will be given by an ASU athlete at the end of the clinic. Every child who brings a friend will receive a prize.
Registration will begin Sunday, February 21.

Programs
Sunday School
Sunday School is the foundation of learning who God is and His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Preschool Sunday School classes are based on your child's age in January and June when we promote.
Children's Sunday School is a time of small group fellowship and Bible study.
Promotion for children is in June based on grade.
Preschool Church
Preschool church is a worship service tailored to the preschooler's age and needs.
A typical preschool church service includes a prayer time for the kids, a Bible story, a craft related to the story and playtime.
Preschool church is for three year olds through Kindergarteners.
Preschoolers are dismissed prior to the sermon and meet their teacher on the patio.
PraiseKid Children's Church
The purpose of PraiseKid is to involve kids (1-4 graders) in worship that is meaningful, fun and participatory.
PraiseKid helps kids learn about worship, experience worship on their level and prepare them to participate in corporate worship.
The kids will be sharing skits, scripture and music in corporate worship from what they have learned in PraiseKid.
Children are dismissed from worship prior to the sermon and meet the teacher on the patio.
Worship Care
Worship Care is provided during the 10:45am service.
Worship Care is for babies, toddlers, and two year olds.
We have an 8 week rotation of parents and volunteers who care for our little ones during worship time.
Mission Friends
Mission Friends is for preschoolers ages 2 through kindergarten based on January and June promotions.
Mission Friend's purpose is to help preschoolers explore sharing God's love with the world as they learn about other countries and states.
Each month focuses on a different place and the Southern Baptist missionaries who serve there.
Mission Friends also teaches Bible thoughts, art and music time, and mission action.
TeamKid
TeamKid is for children in grades 1-6.
TeamKid teaches with a discipleship focus through topical Bible studies, scripture memory, recreation and missions lessons.

Preschool & Children's Choirs
Preschool and Children's Choirs meet on Wednesday evenings from 6-6:30 throughout the school year.
The purpose of choirs is to enjoy music through singing and exploring instruments as a way to praise God.
The children learn through listening, playing, singing, and dancing.

Vacation Bible School
A summer week of music, drama, dancing, crafts, snacks, and best of all--learning about how much Jesus loves us!!
With a wacky, fun theme each year (i.e. Fiesta, Power Lab) VBS is for preschoolers ages 3-5 and children completed K-6 grades.
VBS is free.

Kids Kamp
Five day camp for boys and girls who have completed grades 3-6 in school, usually held in Prescott, Arizona.
Features evening worship services, exciting and meaningful Bible study, great outdoor recreation, Late Night activities, crafts and much more!

Other Fun Activities
Seasonal activities include Family Easter Egg Hunt & Picnic, Fall Festival and Christmas parties.
Other fun activities are organized throughout the year such as pool parties, family fun nights, water play days, end of school parties, Moms & Tots monthly fellowship, and much, much more.
