Preschool Ministry

Purpose

The purpose of Beginnings Preschool Ministry is to glorify God through lives changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our programs and activities reflect our desire to meet your child's spiritual, physical, mental, social, and emotional needs. Each ministry area helps your little one connect, transform, or live.

Preschool Events

Jun 5 6:30pm	Preschool Beginnings - Messy Play Night - Preschool Building Preschool Beginnings will meet during 1st Wednesday with a night full of messy play and fun. Come in clothes that can get messy.
Jun 9 12:15pm	VBS Training - College Building Come prepare to be a station leader or crew leader for VBS. Lunch provided.
Jun 23 12:15pm	VBS decorating and set up - Auditorium Decorate and set up for VBS.
Jun 23 6:15pm	*Vacation Bible School - Auditorium For preschoolers ages 3-5 and children who have completed K-6 grade. Registration online at www.churchonmill.com/vbs. Free. Friends welcome!
Jul 10 6:30pm	Preschool Beginnings & Team Kid - Movie Night Preschool Beginnings & Team Kid will be having a movie night during 1stWed. We will be watching the movie Brave. Snacks provided. Location: Preschool Building
Aug 14 6:30pm	*Preschool Beginnigs - Preschool Building Wednesday evening classes for preschoolers ages 2-K including music and Bible lessons.

Programs

Sunday School

Sunday School introduces the morning's Big Picture Question. Preschoolers will explore God’s story of redemption through Jesus each Sunday as they participate in Bible story time and learning centers using the Gospel Project curriculum. Classes are based on your child’s age in January and June when we promote.

Preschool Church

Preschool Church for all 3 year olds – Kindergarteners will continue the focus on the morning's Big Picture Question. Music, Bible story, and learning centers are used to help preschoolers answer the day's question. Preschoolers will be sent home with a Big Picture Card for Families that will help in further discussion of the day's Bible lesson. Preschoolers are dismissed prior to the sermon and will meet their teacher on the patio.

Worship Care

Worship Care is provided during the Worship Gathering for babies, toddlers, and two year olds. We have an 8-week rotation of parents and volunteers who care for our little ones during worship time. The Bible story from the Sunday School hour is retold.

Preschool Beginnings

Preschool Beginnings meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:00pm for preschoolers ages 2 years through Kindergarten. The preschoolers will focus on how great God is, praising God, and sharing God. This is time includes music, Bible time, discovery centers, and outside learning time.

Vacation Bible School

A summer week of music, drama, dancing, crafts, snacks, and best of all--learning about how much Jesus loves us!! With a wacky, fun theme each year (i.e. Fiesta, Power Lab) VBS is for preschoolers ages 3-5 and children completed K-6 grades. VBS is free.

Other Fun Activities

Other fun activities and learning times are offered throughout the year. Preschoolers are encouraged to participate in building relationships and in being a part of intentional missions through Gospel Community Groups and Life Groups with their families.
