“But in your hearts set apart Christ as LORD. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,” (1 Peter 3:15, NIV)
Many of us are hesitant to talk about our belief in Jesus because we don’t really know what to say, or how to respond to common complaints about “Christianity”.
If you want to prepare yourself to give a reason for the hope that you have in Christ, join us Wednesday nights at 6:30 for the study Foundations of Apologetics, a series from Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. What is apologetics? Apologetics is the field of study about giving a reason to others for why you believe what you believe as a Christian.
With compelling topics such as God, Evil, and Suffering; Seeing and Exploring Cultural Connections; and Reasoning from the Scriptures, this study helps to prepare you with not only knowledge but also the skills to communicate that knowledge in a way that is appealing and effective.
We start Wednesday, August 25, at 6:30pm, in the college house.
