What Do Baptists Believe?
Since we are from many different religious backgrounds here at Church on Mill, we are going to offer
a class on What Baptists Believe. Do you want to know why we dunk people under water? And
why not babies? Who takes the Lord's Supper? Who runs the church? What's "once saved, always saved"?
And the priesthood of believers?
Join us Wednesday nights at 6:30pm starting January 16.

Sundays 4:00pm, Starting January 27

Financial Peace University
Are you living from paycheck to paycheck, knowing there should be enough money to live on but wondering where it
all goes? Are you feeling like you're a bondservant to Citibank instead of Christ? Or do you just want to learn
Biblical financial principles as you start a new career or marriage?
Financial Peace University may be just what you are looking for. We are starting a course on Tuesday, August 28,
from 6:30pm-8:30pm, and meeting every Tuesday night for 13 weeks (until November 27). If you are interested or need
more information, plan on attending an orientation/sign-up session on either Sunday, August 12 right after church
or Tuesday, August 14 from 6:30pm-7:00pm in the west wing of the auditorium. Contact Patrick Nickel for more info.
Membership kits are required and cost $96.25 for a household but scholarships are available for those in need. If
you're an FPU alum and need a refresher, you can attend for free.

Experiencing God
Do you want to learn how to experience God in your life? Do you want to walk with God in your
life? Are you interested in knowing and doing God's will? If so, consider taking part in the
discipleship study, "Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing His Will".
Through personal and group study, you will learn how to recognize when God is speaking to you.
What's more, this 12-session workbook helps Christians understand the importance of His timing
and how to respond obediently. The result of this obedience is a fresh and exciting spiritual
walk. Are you ready to begin Experiencing God at work through you?
This remarkable book will help any believer renew and revitalize his love for the Lord by seeing
His love for us. Experiencing God is designed to help recognize our own personal relationship
with God as He reveals His divine plan and guiding hand. Even as we try to understand Him, God
comes alongside us to accomplish His work through us. *
Day and time is flexible and depends on the needs of the members of the group. Please contact Mark Drake
at the church office if interested.

ALPHA
Would you like to join a small group to find out more of what it means to be a Christian, or strengthen
your faith by understanding the fundamental principles of Christianity? Then ALPHA is for you!
ALPHA is enjoyed and appreciated as much by those who have never set foot in a church as it is by those
who once attended and the regular churchgoer. No matter what their background, by investigating Christianity
for the first time or by revisiting their faith, participants get a lot out of an ALPHA course. Unbelievers,
new believers and mature believers are all welcome!!
If you are interested, please contact Tad Skinner. A class begins January 15.
