Hi all,

Splash for this week Wednesday July 27 has changed locations, we are going to meet at Pastor Chucks home. I will email you the address and directions. We will have dinner, a devotion from the Losers Club, and will swim. It starts at 6 and ends at 8. I hope to see all of you there.

Hey youth tonight’s Splash is at Jacobs house. We are going to look at a very familiar Bible story it will be interactive and you could get wet!
Also we will have water games so make sure you have on clothes that can get wet.
Dinner will be served as well so come tonight from 6-8 PM.

Are you looking for a way to serve this summer? Check out Vacation Bible School at Church on Mill. See www.churchonmill.com/vbs for more info and to register as a volunteer. Your help is needed as crew leaders and assistant crew leaders for both preschoolers and children. A crew leader is the person who connects with a small group of kids. You are their friend and guide for the week. You also get a chance to share Jesus and the Gospel on a personal level. Training is provided on May 15, 6:30pm at COM. VBS is June 26-30, 6:15-8:30pm. The youth are going to see the movie Soul Surfer on Saturday April 9 at the Harkin’s Tempe Marketplace Theaters. The time we are meeting is 1:30 by the box office. The movie starts at 2 and should be over by 4. Youth if you would like to hang out after the movie then your parents can pick you up at 5:30.

Here is what this movie is about. Hamilton’s world changed forever on Oct. 31, 2003, at age 13, when she suffered a nearly unimaginable surfing accident.
While surfing off the coast of Kauai, Hawaii, with family and friends, Hamilton’s arm was ripped off by a shark.
She barely survived the attack.
Now 21, Bethany Hamilton’s courageous journey of faith after the shark attack should be an encouragement for any Christian – especially teenagers.

After the movie we will walk around the mall for awhile. They may invite their friends.

The youth are having a hang night at Bill’s. This coming Friday March 18th from 7 till 10PM. We will play games, hang out, play Wii, maybe watch a movie. There will be snacks provided as well.

Don’t forget there is no TM412 this Wednesday.

Hi all,

Here is my first blog and I hope this helps everyone to have the information they need about our youth group.

The first blog is about our youth retreat on February 18-20. Meet at my home Friday the 18th at 4 PM. We will return on Sunday the 20th around 1 PM. The cost is $35 and you may write your checks out to COM.

Here is the list of what you need to bring:

• Toiletries
• Towels
• Shoes to wear outside( closed toed ones please)
• Bible
• Money for dinner on the way to the cabin
• Warm clothes
• Jacket/ coat it will be cold
• Sleeping bag- if you have one
• Pillow
• Snack to share
